Designed by Laurent Giles, and introduced in 1972, the Westerly Longbow is a solid coastal or offshore cruiser, built like all Westerly's of the period, to Lloyds specification and fitted out as a spacious family boat. Westerly Yachts (Westerly Marine Construction) require no introduction from me! Once the biggest UK boatbuilder, they remained in production until early 2000's and are responsible for over 70 designs. The Westerly Konsort 29 was among their most popular, 704 boats were built between 1979 and 1991. I'd bet the majority of them are still sailing somewhere!
